Here's something to do over and over again in Hong Kong. We do. Any night and every night you can go to Kowloon to see the city skyline in lights. It is gorgeous just as it is. But wait, there's more!
You stroll along the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade, past the Avenue of the Stars with handprints and sculptures of Hong Kong film stars. You might see these two.
You might take a cruise on this boat.

But here's the amazing part. It is called Symphony of the Stars. Between 8 and 8:20 every night, the show begins with loudspeaker announcements of the names of each building as it flashes its lights and shines lasers into the sky. Every night I've been there, the announcements are in Cantonese. But Robb heard them once in English and says it goes pretty much like this:
THE BANK OF AMERICA!
THE HONG KONG ART MUSEUM!
THE INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL!
THE PEOPLES REVOLUTIONARY ARMY HEADQUARTERS IN THE ADMINSTRATIVE DISTRICT OF HONG KONG!
Then music begins and the lights and laser do an ambitious synchronization.

It all winds down after about 20 minutes. Then you just hang out and gaze into water, admiring the skyscape. I believe that this color is called Phillips blue. Or maybe Sanyo cerulean?
