Speedboats and Flowers and Birds, oh my!

Our perspective has suddenly changed from, "Well, we are living here for a month or so. Let's settle into everyday life" to, "Hey, we are probably leaving in two weeks. We need a tourist itinerary!" So, here we go.

Flowers and birds are coming, but this entry is all about the motorboats. They're speedy.

This past weekend we decided to start with our usual walk to our local park. You may remember (see the entry called "my favorite place") that we love our neighborhood Victoria Park. There is so much to love and one great mystery: When does all the action happen in the motorboat pond? Well, we found it. Check out the men, boys and motorboats...

Check out this Coast Guard model. The little helicopter's wings were spinning, but it didn't take off.





Okay, it's a guy thing... but I like these guys. As a privileged few of you know, I fell for a builder of model airplanes.
